  • Given a functional specification for a logic 5000 application, Engineers will be able to develop a project during the course to meet the specifications requirements.
  • Instructs engineers on project development tasks, including organizing a project, organizing data, and configuring modules.

Who Should Attend

  • Individuals who develop new projects for Logix 5000 applications should attend this course.


  • Ability to perform basic Microsoft Windows tasks: using a mouse, browsing files, opening, closing, sizing and moving windows.
  • Knowledge of RSLogic instructions.
  • At least 1 year of hands on RSLogix or equivalent experience.
  • Be able to connect to a network and communicate with a controller
  • Ability to create and organize a new RSLogic project.
  • Enter, edit and verify ladder logic.
  • Communicate with local I/O module.
  • Communicate with E-net modules.
